Long Walk World Hurdle Trial
To call this race the Long Walk is simply just and insult to all those that enter it, as while this race is over the extended three miles they will hardly be Walking. This race is one of the best trials for the Ladbroke World Hurdle and Hardy Eustace will be given this race as one of his trials to the establish if this is the route for him this season. The Champion Hurdle has not yet being fully ruled out as according to Richard Hughes the leading National Hunt jockey and son of trainer Dessie Hughes suggests and correctly so, that the Champion Hurdle is cutting up.Hardy Eustace winner of this season Coral Ascot Hurdle over just under two and a half miles looked like he needed every bit of it to get the better of Afsoun and everyone expects him to get the three miles, having won a Sun alliance at the festival over 2 miles 5 Furlongs.
Other entries are Kasbah Bliss, third to Inglis Drever at Newbury the quality trio of Jonjo O'Neill Wichita Lineman, Refinement and Black Jack Ketchum. Others to consider are Lough Derg, Temoin, Blazing Bailey and No Refuge all who finished behind Might Man last year.
We might also see the Peter Bowen Special Envoy and the progressive Souffleur, while the list is completed by Afrad, Chief Dan George, Gaspara, Hills Of Aran, Kawagino, Lyes Green, Mephisto, Oscardeal, Oscar Park, Turpin Green and Material World.
