Lightning Strike Mover in Ballymore
We have seen a new mover in the Ballymore Properties Hurdle at Cheltenham with the excellent performance of Lightning Strike in the Winter Hurdle at Sandown in December. Carrying top weight he got the better of Mount Oscar and hot favourite Nakai. Trained by Venetia Williams and ridden by Tony McCoy, Lightning Strike stayed the best of the runners on very soft ground and it a definite possibility for a Cheltenham festival run.Lightning Strike has been installed at 20-1 by totesport for the Ballymore Properties Novice Hurdle at Cheltenham following his win at Sandown today. Spokesman Damian Walker said: "Lightning Strike was a classy Flat horse and has translated that ability to the jumping game.
"He has now landed a Listed race over hurdles and defied a penalty in a Grade 2 event so he deserves to take high rank in the Ballymore Properties Novice Hurdle betting."
