Mamlook looks a real JCB

The David Pipe trained Mamlook put up another polished display to win his second Juvenile Novices' Hurdle at Warwick on Sunday by a very easy ten lengths. Mamlook ridden by Tony McCoy looks a real hurdler of potential as he led from the front in true Pipe style and is best price 20/1 for the Cheltenham festival triumph hurdle.

David Pipe who has not been rushing in the winners this season will be very pleased with this result and after Mamlook followed up his very encouraging debut run at Market Rasen in November. Sent off the 4/7 favourite punters who took those odds had nothing to be worried about as Tony McCoy sent his mount to the front and had his competitors struggling as early as down the back straight.

When trainer Pipe was asked to comment on Mamlook's vicotry he indicated that the ground was softer than ideal for his winner, and he would not want to race him on anything slower.
