Make or Break for the Bear
The Boylesports hurdle at Cheltenham will determine the future for Straw Bear who broke a blood vessel in the Champion Hurdle at the Cheltenham festival last march. This was the first time he had broken a vessel and if he does not produce a top effort in the Boylesport International the he will be sent chasing.Straw Bear was and is a really good hurdler but it maybe a blessing in disguise should he now go Chasing. Straw bear has the build to make a really class Chaser and is as low as 16/1 for the Arkle at the Cheltenham festival this year.
Straw bear is an 8/1 chance to win the Boylesports which is probably one of the best Champion Hurdle trials of the year and he will face stiff competition from favourite Sublimity, Katchit and Afsoun to name just a few of those in with a chance.
Should he go well in this race he will aimed at the Agfa hurdle over Christmas and then all roads lead to Cheltenham next March.
