The fact is he was as big as a bull and he is bound to come on a lot for this race and come March he will be a very different proposition.David Pipe's Osana was an impressive winner of the Boylesports.com International Hurdle was slashed from 33/1 to 10/1 by VC Bet for the Champion Hurdle and attracted hefty support causing the price to be cut to 7/1 joint second favourite.
Afsoun was a big disappointment finishing tailed off and this really will put a lot of doubts about where he will go next. Katchit ran another really good race and it would be wise for Alan King not to do to much with this horse this season as another year on his back and he will be a real Champion Hurdle contender next season.
