O'Neill Stable Concerns
There is a cloud hanging over the Jonjo O'Neill stable with his horses not running very well in the run up to Christmas. This has to be major worry for backers of Exotic Dancer in the King George and Black Jack in the Long Walk Hurdle.A virus hit his stables last year and while there is no evidence that it has returned there is concern that his horses are not firing at present. Jonjo has not had a winner since November and this has led to Exotic Dance drifting in the King George betting.
It is expected that his horses will get the cold shoulder until there is evidence that they are winning as punters pick up on these things very quickly these days. It is believed that Exotic Dancer is in good form at home but as always with these things it is not until the horse is put under pressure in their races and so the proof will only be in the pudding if you can excuse this festive pun!
