Blazing Bailey World Hurdle Odds
Blazing Bailey World Hurdle odds took a real nosedive following his victory in the Steel Plate and Sections Hurdle at Cheltenham on New Years Day. The Alan King trained horse always runs one really good race each season and this was his day and his price to win the Ladbroke World Hurdle has been cut to 6/1 for the Cheltenham Festival feature next March.Blazing Bailey was very willing against a number of out of form horses and this peformance should not be taking very seriously. However, he proved more than ready to take advantage and to hammer home his claims for the World Hurdle at the Festival. Alan King's gelding has shown in two seasons hurdling that he has a top race in him one day. On the back of this very good performance under Robert Thornton, Blazing Bailey was a big mover for his Festival assignment with VCBet, Paddy Power and Stan James going 6-1 (from 12), World Hurdle sponsors Ladbrokes 6-1 (from 14) and Blue Square a top-priced 7-1 (from 14).
King will probably go next to the Cleeve hurdle on his way to Cheltenham in March where he will take his chance in the World Hurdle.
