Binocular JCB Triumph Hurdle Mover
The JCB Triumph Hurdle had another new exciting entry this week in Binocular following his victory at Ascot in the Spargonet Consulting Juvenile Novices Hurdle. Trained by Nicky Henderson and owned by JP McManus who also has the ante post favourite of the JCB in Franchoek quickened away when shaken up between the last two flights by his jockey Mick Fitzgerald who had theluxury of looking around coming to the finishing post. This classy recruit from the flat was running for the first ime in just under 200 days and Henderson him in good shape but a little burley, so there could be a fair amount of improvement in him. He is a top-priced 8/1 for the Triumph Hurdle.
Tony McCoy who is recovering well and is likely to make the festival may have to make a choice as Franchoek has the stronger hurdles form but Binocular was different class on the Flat and should leave this form well behind.
