The Master Minded Queen Mother Champion Chase odds took a real hit after his emphatic success in the totepool Game Spirit Chase at Newbury on Saturday. The next question is who will Ruby ride in the Queen Mother as Master Minded goes to post on a roll whereas Twist Magic was beaten last time at Ascot and has thrown in the odd poor effort. From listening to Nicholls after the race one got the impression that he really likes this horse and he is an improver and is definitely going the right way, qualities that Paul always looks for.
