Forpadydeplasterer Ballymore Properties Odds

The Forpadydeplasterer Ballymore Properties odds shortened dramatically to around 8/1 yesterday following his victory in the Deloitte Novice Hurdle at Leopardstown on Hennessy day. He beat Cork All Star easily which has dented his prices for the Supreme Novices. Forpadydeplasterer owned by the Goat syndicate confirmed his position as one of Ireland's best novice hurdlers with a win that puts him firmly at the top of the Ballymore Properties Hurdle betting. This race was run over 2 miles two furlongs and it is felt that the step up to the two and half miles plus for the Ballymore will suit this big chasing type.

Jessica Harrington believs that Cork All Star will jump better on better ground, and is also optimistic that a strong gallop and a big field will help him to put in a more fluent round. As such, she is still looking forward to a good run in the Supreme Novices'. However that is a number of times that Cork All Star last years Cheltenham Bumper winner has come up short and he is turning out to be something of bookies friend. His jumping just seems to let him down all the time and he will find it difficult at Cheltenham with this type of jumping.

There were great scenes in the parade ring with the Goat Syndicate having a blast and no doubt they will have celebrated long into the evening back at Charlie Chalk's pub the Goat.
