Lough Derg Ladbrokes World Hurdle Odds

The Lough Derg Ladbrokes World Hurdle odds have come in following his victory in the National Spirit Hurdle at Fontwell at the weekend. Having already taken the Grade 1 Long Walk Hurdle and a Grade 2 Ascot handicap this season, this was the eight-year-old’s third major success of the campaign, and it highlighted every little bit of his tenacity and courage. He will now head to the Ladbrokes World Hurdle, but his past record at Cheltenham suggests that he will not be winning there. He could, however, be winning the Order of Merit, in which he now has a 14-point lead over Kauto Star, who is likely to be put away for the season after the Gold Cup.

Lough Derg has been cut for the Ladbroke World Hurdle with Stan James from 14s into 12s following his gutsy Fontwell win in the National Spirit Hurdle. My Way De Solzen showed more back over timber than he had in his last couple of runs over fences, but was still eased for the World Hurdle from 10/1 out to 12/1.

Stan James will be non runner no bet from 9am tomorrow morning Monday 25th February on all 13 Grade 1 contests at the Cheltenham Festival.

Ladbroke World Hurdle: Inglis Drever 5/6, Blazing Bailey 6/1, Kasbah Bliss 8/1, Wichita Lineman 10/1, Hardy Eustace 10/1, My Way De Solzen 12/1 (from 10s) , Lough Derg 12/1 (from 14s) 20/1 bar.
