Master Minded Sensational

Master Minded was only sensational in the Queen Mother and owner Clive Smith has two Stars in his horse portfolio. Going into this race we though we would be in for a really close race but the outcome was something to behold. Never before have we seen in a championship race one horse that totally destroyed his rivals. Even the great Mosow Flyer would have been impressed with this performance.

Master Minded was taking on last year's winner Voy Por Ustedes, who he had beat getting a few pounds at Newbury last month, but this time he was on level weights. The question we all asked ourselves, was, had Master Minded improved for the race? the answer was quite unbelievable. He won eased down by 19 lengths from Voy Por Ustedes and by doing so he put up a performance that on paper at least entitles him to be rated higher than Moscow Flyer, who is generally acknowledged to have been the best two miler of recent years.

His price for next year's Queen Mother is as low as Evens with the online bookmakers and unless injury intervenes it will take something very special to beat him in this race for the foreseeable future.
