Tony McCoy Decides on Butlers Cabin

Tony McCoy's Grand National decision to side with Butler's Cabin is quite surprising as he is a horse that does not look in love with the game. Anyone that was at Wincanton the last time he ran will have seen how tough a ride he was for Mick Fitzgerald. He lost ground at every fence and just seemed a horse that had had enough of racing. However, Tony McCoy is the best in the business for these type of rides and knows how good a horse he can be having won the Irish Grand National last season.

Tony McCoy had the opportunity of riding anyone of the J.P. McManus runners including King Johns Castle, L'Ami and Bob Hall. With all the money for King Johns Castle last week, it was expected that Tony McCoy would side with him, but how wrong this turned out to be. The news from the stable is positive about Butler's Cabin, but sorry we suggest than any money taken for this one over the next week is money in the bookies satchels come Saturday evening.

As usual there will be much hype about Tony looking for his first Grand National success, but we think that he will have to wait another year for his first Grand National win.
