Cloudy Grand National Favourite of 99

The Grand National favourite is Cloudy Lane who is now a 6/1 chance (from 13/2) with Stan James for the John Smith's Grand National at Aintree on Saturday as 99 stood their ground for the great race at the six-day entry stage. The final 40 will be available on Thursday morning.

Head of PR Charlie McCann said that there was "No real surprises at today's six-day entry stage and with Stan James now offering 1/4 odds first five, Non Runner No Bet and Best Odds Guaranteed It would be no surprise to see the 6/1 for Donald McCain's charge not lasting long, given punters have the insurance of getting the bigger price if it drifts on the day.
