Tote Beats Grand National SP on 37 out of the 40 runners
The tote are expecting more bumper returns for pool punters after some staggering results on the 2007 John Smith’s Grand National. Tote Spokesman Damian Walker said: “The tote comes into its own at these big meetings and no more so than in the biggest betting race of the season. “In the Grand National we take out 13.5% in our win pool on the tote and last year the starting price returns showed a fixed-odds overround of 152%. “This led to us beating SP on 37 out of the 40 runners and if the fixed-odds over-round is the same this year then we expect to reproduce those returns. “There is also massive liquidity in the Grand National pool which is another boon for punters.”
There shall be a big scoop6 jackpot to play for this Grand National weekend as the bonus was not won last week. The Grand National is the final leg of this weeks scoop6.
