Tote Jackpot to hit £1 Million

The Tote Jackpot is expected to hit £1 Million Pounds on Wednesday April 23rd as a bob of the head meant a Bet365 punter missed out on the biggest dividend in jackpot history when his selection, Graylyn Ruby narrowly lost to Ovthenight in the last at Southwell. Had the favourite managed to get up, the punter would have picked up a record dividend of £535,472. Graylyn Ruby was one of three selections that the punter had running for him in the last leg.

Over £360,000 was bet into the pool today, leaving a massive £754,187 rollover at Nottingham tomorrow. It is expected to climb towards £1.5million.

Paul Petrie, tote spokesman commented, “It must have been agony for this punter as it looked like Graylyn Ruby was going to get up and the bob of a head has cost him a record dividend of £535,472. With a jackpot well over £1million expected tomorrow punters will be hoping for a bit more luck.”
