Kasbah Wins In Blistering Style

Kasbah Bliss won the Blue Square Hurdle in blistering fashion on Valentimes Day, massacering his opposition with a devastating finish. His win immediately prompted bookmakers all round to shorten his World Hurdle Odds to 7-4 and he looks to be a most worthy favourite for the top staying hurdle race in the country.

He had all the way leader Hills Of Arran behind him and he totally outclassed the Nicky Henderson trained, Duc de Regneiere with Tony McCoy on board, who finished well behind in third place.

His finishing burst was 'Istabraq' like proving that he should comfortably manage the Cheltenham hill when he attempts to improve on his second place behind Inglis Drever in last years race.

His main challengers in the World Hurdle will be Duc De Regniere's stablemate, Punchestowns and of course the Paul Nicholls gelding, Big Bucks, but on this showing there is only one horse to have your money on and that is this Francois Douman's French trained charge.
