As if Sir Alex Ferguson has not won enough already at Manchester United, he know hopes to have his first Cheltenham Festival winner with his Paul Nicholls trained, What A Friend in the RSA Chase.
Nicholls has done nothing but sing the praises of the two time winner this season and sees the horse as a future Cheltenham Gold Cup prospect. He is joint favourite for the race at 6-1. However, stable jockey, Ruby Walsh has the option of riding the other joint favourite, Cooldine, trained by Willie Mullins, who won the big Grade One chase at Leopardstown on 15th February.
It promises to be a great race between the two, but Nicholls also has high hopes for the 2008 Coral Cup winner, Kicks For Free. He has looked in great form at home and could be the surprse package in the race.
