58 Still Stand For Triumph Hurdle

The impressive Nicky Henderson trained Zaynar stood his ground as 58 entries still remain at the latest declaration stage for the Grade One, 2009 Triumph Hurdle

The four year old was well fancied for this race even before the grey began hurdling but has since confirmed that confidence by winning his only two starts

Oliver Brady has an interesting contender from over the water in Ireland. Ebadiyan has looked very impressive so far this season and could become the first Irish winner of the race since 2002.

Others who are in with chances are Walkon, Starluck and Master Of Arts, but perhaps the biggest danger will come from the Paul Nicholls trained youngster Hebridean. This horse that was snapped up by Nicholls from the flat is said to be pure class and could well be the one to upset the odds; at 33-1 he has to be worth an each way plunge
