Forpady was always there or thereabouts and showed that even when idling a little coming up the hill he had enough under Geraghtys urgings to hold off a late but determined bid from Kalahari King.
It had been known for some time that the winner was being targeted specifically for this race and he never once let his followers down.It was the second winner of the day for Irish horses.
