Coral Cup Glory For Ninetieth Minute

A ride timed to perfection by jockey, Paddy Flood helped Ninetieth Minute to claim the Coral Cup on behalf of trainer, Tom Taafe.

It was a strange race in that only Pause And Clause of the leading fancies could get in sight of landing a blow. One by one they dropped by the wayside, leaving the way clear for Ninetieth Minute to hold firm and fend off the challenge from the second horse, Mirage Dore. Pause and Clause ran well to finish in third, with outsider, Star Of Angels fourth.

It was yet another Cheltenham winner for the Irish, they now have seven winners from eleven races run so far at this 2009 Cheltenham Festival.
