Festival Day Three Could Be Best Day Yet For Punters

This third day at the 2009 Cheltenham Festival has the potential to be a bumper one for punters, particularly with Kasbah Bliss and Voy Por Ustedes looking like cast iron bankers

With three favourites getting home on the second day and two on the first, the Bookmakers are not jumping for joy like they normally do by this time during the meeting.

The two big races of the day are both mouth watering prospects. In the World Hurdle at 3.20 pm, Kasbah Bliss, the French raider who came second to Inglis Drever in 2008 looks every bit the winner. He looked mightily impressive at when winning by a street at Haydock last month which has led Nicky Henderson, the trainer of the second favourite, Punchestowns, to almost concede defeat before the race has even been run. Even champion jockey, Tony McCoy has commented that there is not a horse in the world that would beat him over the three mile Cheltenham trip. Kasbah Bliss is likely to go off as an even money favourite for the race

Voy Por Ustedes, twice a winner at the Festival in the past can become the first horse to win three seperate races at the Festival. He is the hot favourite at around even money to take the Ryanair Chase and there are only very few plaudits opposing him.

So far it is the Irish horses that have dominated the Festival with 8 wins from 13 races, however they may not fair so well today and it will be a chance for the UK horses to redress the balance.
