Denman 14/1 to win Hennessy and 2010 Cheltenham Gold Cup Double

We all look forward to the return of the 2008 Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Denman. He will return to action for the Hennessy Gold Cup on Saturday but he will be carrying top weight and his trainer has gone on record as suggesting a top 4 finish would be a good result which does not really instill a lot of confidence. This is especially as Paul Nicholls has more confidence in his other runner third favourite What A Friend for the race on Saturday.

Stan James has marked up a price for Denman who is the 10/3 favourite with Stan James for the Hennessy Gold Cup on Saturday and are also offering 14/1 that he wins his second Hennessy and his second Gold Cup at Cheltenham in March.

For anti post punters who like to get some value, should Denman win at the weekend, he will almost be favourite for the March feature come Saturday evening and 14/1 would be looking a pretty good bet.
