Irish bookmaker Paddypower have joined forces with us to offer an excellent special £200 Free Cheltenham Bets Offer...
We are about to get into the busy Xmas racing schedule and there are going to be many key runners for the 2010 Cheltenham Festival in action. Number 1 on the list without doubt is Kauto Star in the King George VI chase at Kempton on Boxing Day. The betting for the race suggests that this is a one horse race even though Imperial Commander ran him so close in the Betfair Chase. It is fully expected that Kauto shall follow up on his win at Haydock Park and win his fourth successive King George on his way to the big duel with Denman in the Cheltenham Gold Cup.
The Christmas Hurdle on the same card is likely to see Go Native attempt to follow up on his excellent Fighting Fifth victory and prove that it was no fluke. He will probably come up against Binocular who was so disappointing in that race.
The Long Walk Hurdle this coming weekend at Ascot will probably see the first two in the betting for the Ladbrokes World Hurdle take each other on with Big Bucks and Diamond Harry in the line up at the 5 day declaration stage.
Ante Post Arkle favourite Sizing Europe is entered in the Novice Chase at Leopardstown on St Stephen's Day and it will be interesting if he can continue to show his class as he comes up against tougher opposition and more challenging fences.
There will be many more Cheltenham hopefuls lining up over Christmas and it is advisable to set your Sky Plus recorder as this could come in very handy come early March.
