All The Even Money Odds Gone For Dunguib In Supreme Novices

The question was how long would it last, and we got our answer this afternoon as Ladbrokes the magic sign had been going best odds of even money for Dungib in the opener at the festival on March the 16th but this price was under severe pressure all day. Dunguib's price had shortened since his victory in the Deloitte Hurdle at Leopardstown on Sunday and now the best price is from Paddy Power who are going 5/6 with most of the bookies only offering 4/5.

Dunguib has been a warm order for this race ever since he won the Champion Bumper at the festival last season. He has won all his hurdle races this season and he looks in a different class to his rivals and it is now expected that he will win the opener on day one of the Cheltenham Festival and get the punters off to a great start.

No horse has been as short for what is such a competitive race but this season everyone believes that Dunguib is a wonder horse, as he just never seems to come off the bridle. The other fascinating thing about the Philip Fenton trained horse is that he is not the best of jumpers as on his most recent run he nearly kicked all the hurdles out of the way.

Supreme Novices Hurlde Odds Comparison

Ladbrokes were sticking their necks out on their even money odds for the race thinking that his jumping will really get a severe test in the race, but as we know in this game money talks. On the track yesterday their was one punter who had 50,000 euros on Dunguib to win his race at Leopardstown at odds of 3/10 and took out 15,000 euro from the Irish bookie Chronicle Bookmakers.

Come March Dunguib may well make a big hole in all bookies satchels.
