Tuesday March 16th - Day One

The initial day of Cheltenham comprises of six races, with the meeting getting underway with the Supreme Novices Hurdle early on Tuesday afternoon. The feature race is the Champion Hurdle which despite attracting large fields is normally taken by those more favoured in the Cheltenham betting markets.

Closely following the Champion Hurdle with regards prestige comes the Arkle which tends to comprise of small, but highly competitive, field. The new race scheduled for Tuesday is the Cross Country Chase.

Wednesday March 17th - Day Two

Day two of the Cheltenham Festival race meeting features six equally fascinating events including the Champion Bumper which is a flat race run under National Hunt rules and the showpiece event, the Queen Mother Chase. The later of the two, the Queen Mother Chase is often viewed as one of the bookmakers most feared races, as favourites tend to perform exceptionally well in this event.

Thursday March 18th - Day Three

The third day of the festival features the Ladbrokes World Hurlde which is now the fourth race on the card. The Ryanair is another of the days feature races with the Pertemps the final race in the day.

Friday March 19th - Day Four

The final day of the meeting features the Cheltenham Gold Cup and we all await to see if Kauto Star can repeat his success of 2009, or will Denman avenge his defeat against his stablemate following a season blighted by injury. The Triumph Hurdle and Albert Bartlett Hurdle race are other really good races on the final day of the 2010 Cheltenham Festival.
