Daily Telegraph Festival Trophy
The Dailey Telegraph is an excellent race in that it pits the second season chasers who find the two or three mile chases not quite right for them. This race is an excellent stepping stone for progressing chasers and it will bring to the fore the best chasers of the previous season and a good starting point to select a winner would be to look back at the previous years Arkle and see who might not quite be up to Champion Chase class and this could narrow down the potential winners.| Cheltenham Festival Odds - Day Three Thursday | ||

Ryanair Chase 2006 Result
This really was the banker bet of the Festival meeting, Fondmont loves it around Prestbury Park and jumps really well and was in great form coming into the race. Mick Fitz gave him a copybook ride settling in just off the pace and bringing him to take it up coming down the hill and from there he was never going to be beat.- 1. Fondmort (MA Fitzgerald) 100-30jf
- 2. Lacdoudal (R Johnson) 20-1

Daily Telegraph Festival Trophy Chase 2005 Result
The first running of the Dailey Telegraph was won by Thisthatandtother who had run very well throughout the season. A faller at the second fence in the 2004 running of the Arkle, this was considered compensation by many, but he had to fight off the persistent challenge of Fondmont who has a tendency to run well fresh and at Cheltenham.
