Cheltenham Race Course Enclosures

The Best Mate Enclosure

The Best Mate Enclosure has been re-developed to include the new £2m Dawn Run & Desert Orchid Grandstand. The Enclosure gives racegoers an unprecedented view and range of facilities, including a Harry Ramsden restaurant, betting shop and bars.

The enclosure is directly opposite the main stands and, at the Cheltenham Race Course, entertainment includes a leading 'cover' band.

Tattersalls and Club

The Tattersalls Grandstand provides extensive viewing steps, a betting hall, bars, buffets and access to viewing seats and the lounge on Level 3. Seats for The Festival are already fully booked. Racegoers in Tattersalls have access to view all the activities behind the stands including the Paddock and Unsaddling Enclosure and to the Hall of Fame, the Cheltenham Gold Cup Restaurant and the trade stands in the Tented Village.

The Tattersalls Arena provides over 1000 seats, big screen viewing, bars, betting and refreshments.

At The Festival, the Guinness Village opposite the last fence, extends the Tattersalls Enclosure with extra viewing steps, bars, a band and other entertainments.

Club, as its name suggests, is the most exclusive enclosure with the best viewing, bars, buffets and betting areas. The purchase of a Club Day Badge for the Festival also entitles you to use all the facilities within Tattersalls. At The Festival, the chalets and boxes in the Tented Village are also in the Club Enclosure.

Betting can be enjoyed in all the enclosures.

There are Tote Betting points/windows situated in every enclosure at Cheltenham. Tote windows, both indoors and out, are normally open one hour before the first race. Bookmakers can be found in Tattersalls and Courage and there are betting shops in Courage, Tattersalls, the Paddock and, for The Festival, in the Guinness Village.

The Tattersalls Grandstand provides a Betting Hall, betting shops on Levels 1 and 3 and Tote windows in all areas, including table service in the Panoramic Restaurant. The Tattersalls Arena will include a betting shop.

Tote Sports betting vouchers can be purchased in advance by credit or debit card and used like cash at all Tote cash betting outlets.
