Very open betting for this race with the bookies going 7/1 the field. Glacial Sunset took them along from Wild Cane Ridge at a decent enough pace. As they passed the stands there was little change but Backboard was not going well. They were well grouped up going up the hill with loads in with a shout, Ballyfitz took it up at the second last and went away up the hill from Miko De Beauchene and According to Pete in third.

All eyes were on the JP McManus well back Olaso who went off favourite but what everyone did not know was that it was his 50/1 winner Kadoun who was the one all along!
