The Gold Cup is the stand out race of the entire week at the Cheltenham Festival and the ante-post betting has been as competitive as ever with a number of horses being well backed over the past few months. Bobs Worth won the Gold Cup at the Festival in 2013 and at this stage he is hard to oppose in the betting for the 2014 renewal.
Irish Raider Sir Des Champs, finished second in the recent Gold Cup and has to be a contender again next March whilst Paul Nicholls will be hoping that Silviniaco Conti can continue his upward curve.
