The Gold Cup is the feature race of the entire Cheltenham Festival 2011 and it brings to the fore the best chaser in Europe and it is run over three miles, two furlongs of the Cheltenham Racecourse.
Paul Nicholls is becoming the man to beat in this race with the talent in his yard and he is the trainer to follow this year also.
The 2010 odds are up already and Kauto Star is the clear favourite to win it again from Denman but his biggest challenge this year may come from last year RSA Chase winner Cooldine.
