This will be the second year of the extended two and a half mile Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle.
Qaspal hacked up in a handicap at Sandown on the 19th February. Having gone up in the weights it will be interesing to see if he can carry his new weight to victory for Tony McCoy and trainer Hobbs.
Quantitativeeasing last seen on the 12th February at Kempton and was beaten into second place. He was unbeaten coming into this race. He raced a bit keen owing to the lack of pace, and having ranged upsides still on the bridle two out, he had to settle for second spot out after a good battle.
Peveril last ran at Warwick on the 26th February and is another for the Nicky Henderson year. He is unbeaten over hurdles and looks to have a good attitude for the game.
