Coral Cup 2010 Result
The Coral Cup is always an exciting race and with 28 runners going to post it looked it an open betting heat as they went to post. Quantitiveeasing was the market leader but there were any number of horses who looked to have a real chance. As the huge field got underway it was Eleazar who took up the running with Michael Flips alongside him at the head of the field.
Michael Flips was joined by Spirit river as they went over the last and looked to going great guns while Michael Flips started to fade badly, while Wishfull Thinking fell when looking very well placed. It was another win though for Barry Geraghty on board Spirit River as he simply bolted away from the field to win by a distance with no one close by with the 80/1 shot Tullamore Dew coming home second at a long price.
