The Foxhunter Steeple Chase went to post with 24 runners and of those it was Juveigneur who set off as favourite. It was Marblehead the grey who took the early lead as the horses set off but he was unable to maintain the pace he had set.
Baby Run took up the pace and he was quickly joined by Cappa Bleu and Turthen as it became a sprint between the three. It was Cappa Bleu who was the strongest of the three and he ran an excellent race to win. Turthen produced a good performance to claim second ahead of Baby Run in a good third.
