Kahuna went to challenge for the lead and Saintsaire makes a very big mistake and that did his chances with Hasty Prince coming to lead going round the final bend and was quickly challenged by Andreas and both jumped the last together and Andreas had too much grit in the end to win well in the end from Hasty Prince with Ground Ball in third and Ursis in fourth.
1. Andreas (Robert Thornton) 12-1
2. Hasty Prince (AP McCoy) 8-1
3. Ground Ball (David Casey) 33-1
