We now come to the final race of an epic Cheltenham Festival and the Grand Annual race which looked a difficult one for punters, the favourite before the off was I'msingingtheblues who was bidding to give Paul Nicholls another winner at the Festival while the bookies were praying to see him beaten. The final roar went up and the early leader was Tanks for That but he made a mistake at the first fence and just stayed up while Chaninbar failed to race.

At the top of the hill turning in the leader was Tanks For That after recovering from that early mistake but there was a number in with a shout. He was challenged by Oiseau de Nuit and Askthemaster and they duly streaked past the fast tiring Tanks For That as they approached the final fence. Coming off the last fence there was only one winner as Oiseau De Nuit bolted up the hill to win at a big price while Askthemaster came in second at another big price while De Boitron stayed on well to run on into a place from the back.
