Something Wells won the battle for the lead with the favourite going out at the 4th fence. Going out into the country where Gold Medallist took it up and Something Wells fell and brought down Dear Villez. Finger on the Pulse took it up over the second last and was chased by Barber Shop all the way up the straight but he had enough to hold on at the line.
