Ballabriggs is a horse that is on the minds of a number of leading commentators for this race and the bookies have taken note making him favourite. The one thing that his horse does naturally is jump well. He was last seen out at Ayr on the 13th February were he was very impressive, jumping well throughout under Graham Lee. He could be seen in the Kim Muir at the Cheltenham Festival next, as race connections have been successful in the past with Cloudy Lane.

Another at the head of the market is Shillingstone who had a winning run of three races at the back end of last season and this season, but this came to an end at Sandown on the 19th February and is one to consider for this race.

Galant Nuit trained by Ferdy Murphy is a second-season chaser who was not pushed to hard when last seen on the track at Cheltenham in November and this was his first try beyond 3m1f. Considered one for the future he has been looked after by his trainer and it will be interesting to see if he turns up in the Kim Muir.
