The final race on the card of Day 3 at Cheltenham was the Kim Muir Challenge Cup and like all the handicaps it looked a difficult one to sort out with a number of horses running off a nice weight. There was a fast early pace with Massini Man the bottom weight setting the early clip which saw to the field being strung out. The market fancy Junior came towards the front as they entered the final circuit and he looked to be in good shape for punters.
Deal Done though was clear at the top of the hill with Junior chasing and to the roar of the crowd the favourite took the lead over the second last and he never looked back to storm up the hill for David Pipe. The result was a big blow for the bookmakers as the noise from punters signalled and David Pipe confirmed his dominance with Faasel coming in to claim second some way back with the field strung out across Prestbury Park. Deal Done ran well to claim third place with Galaxy Rock running into the places for each-way punters but the race belonged to Junior who simply hosed up.
