Neptune Investment Hurdle 2010 Result
The 2010 Neptune was an exciting betting heat with Rite Of Passage and Quel Esprit the two runners vying for favouritism before the off with 17 runners going to post with some potential stars of the future taking their chances. First to show at the front were Sleepy Hollow and The Knoxs with Quel Esprit down at the second with Ruby Walsh on the floor.
A tightly packed field came into the straight with Sleepy Hollow the first to make a bolt for home with Reve De Sivola in contention and Rite Of Passage travelling well. Sleepy Hollow jumped out at the second last to leave Reve De Sivola at the front with Rite Of Passage struggling to stay and Peddlers Cross coming into contention. Coming off the last it was Peddlers Cross who took up the lead and he sprinted away from Reve De Sivola up the hill to claim a famous victory in good style.
