The 2003 Queen Mother Champion Chase was taken by the Irish entry Moscow Flyer in an extremely fast time, albeit in maybe slightly lucky circumstances. At two fences out his nearest challengers Latalomne and Seebald fell leaving Moscow Flyer clear of the field for the final couple of furlongs of the Cheltenham Racecourse. As in 2002 Latalomne looked to be travelling well until unseating his rider and maybe with a little more experience he could well be the main danger in 2004. Native Upmanship and Cenkos occupied the placed positions rather fortunately, neither had been in position to challenge the front three until Latalomne and Seebald fell.
