Queen Mother Champion Chase

As the Queen Mother Chase went to tapes there was only one horse on every one's lips and that was Master Minded who was expected to win comfortably. There were 12 runners for the feature race of day two of the festival.

Master Minded was happy to sit in the pack for the early stages of the race and he simply stepped on the gas when he needed to and cruised past the field. It was really a race for second and that went to Well Chief who was on his first run for two years and he stayed really well. Third place went to Petit Robin who took advantage of Briareus falling at the last.
