The Supreme Novices' Hurdle is a popular race amongst punters as they try and get off to a winning start. The race is traditionally very competitive, boasting only four winning favourites in the past 20 years and an average SP of 14/1, including winners priced as big as 40 and 50/1.
This year's renewal sees Irish Raider, Dunguib, expected to go off as the shortest priced favourite ever in the race. At the odds though, many punters will be looking to take advantage of the generous odds available on all the other runners.
Anybody betting on this race who is out to take on Dunguib should head straight to Paddy Power who will be refunding all bets if Dunguib wins the race. Therefore, backing any of the of the other 16 runners makes sense, safe in the knowledge that if Dunguib does justify his favourite tag, you'll get your money back to have a bet in another race.
