Pierse Hurdle

One of the most competitive handicap hurdles of the season is run at Leopardstown early in January. There are always twenty plus horses taking their chance and generally there are a couple of entries from each of the leading stables.

The Pierse Hudle is for four year olds rated up to 145 and you will find the winner generally goes onto compete in one of the big handicaps at the Cheltenham Festival.

The Pierse Hurdle is also run on the inside course and so the track is very tight and usually the ground is very soft so your selection will need to handle the ground conditions and also will need quite a bit of luck in running and a Pierse Hudle tip would be to consider something at the foot of the handicap.

You can get Pierse Hurdle free bets for new customers with all of the online bookmakers listed on this site.
