Tied Cottage Chase Betting 2012 - Sizing Europe Claims Easy Success

The Tied Cottage Chase has grown over the past decade to become one of the key trial races for the Queen Mother Champion Chase at the Cheltenham Festival. It gives punters the chance to see some of the main Irish contenders for the Champion Chase before the Festival and has produced some winners of the very highest quality in recent years. The race is of particular importance with Cheltenham in mind as it takes place in February at Punchestown, giving punters a chance to take a look at some of the main Cheltenham contenders just a month before the big race.

The first Tied Cottage Chase was back in 1999 and without doubt the most famous winner of the race was the great Moscow Flyer who won in both 2003 and 2003. It is also worth noting that Moscow Flyer followed up his win at Punchestown with a Champion Chase win the same season. Big Zeb is another one who completed the Tied Cottage Chase/Queen Mother Champion Chase double in 2010 which highlights the importance of this race with Cheltenham in mind.
