There are a number of key trial races for the Triumph Hurdle through the season but none are more important than this one on Cheltenham Trials Day. It is the last meeting of the season at the track before the Cheltenham Festival itself and the Triumph Hurdle Trial race is one of the big races on the day. A number of top class horses will be heading to the trial race with more than one eye on the big race at the Festival and it is promising to be a top class race.
At the moment, Baby Mix is the ante-post favourite for the JCB Triumph Hurdle at the Festival and trainer Tom George has already stated that he will turn up on trials day for this race. He will no doubt go off favourite for the race which has been won by the likes of Walkon and Katchit in recent years and another good performance from Baby Mix will see his Festival price contract.
